A Friendly B&B (our home) situated in the picturesque Peak District Village of Stanton in Peak, best accessed by own transport. Beautiful Views over Bakewell and Haddon Hall. Chatsworth House also close by (10 minutes drive). Three bedrooms that share a large family bathroom (with bath and shower). Use of the guest lounge and garden. NO guest cooking facilities. A delicious breakfast can be provided at a charge of £10 per person, and with advanced notice please. Three comfortable double rooms that share a large family bathroom (with bath and shower) - all situated at one end of the house. Two of the rooms have patio doors out to the garden, wardrobes and large king sized beds. Extra toilet available in the living area. There are no guest cooking facilities, however we can provide a full cooked breakfast (various choices) at £10 per person / also packed lunches at £5 per person - upon advance request, and payable whilst here please. Full use of the guest lounge and garden. We can advise on local attractions and places to eat. We do a lot of walking - and can suggest some lovely local walks - for all abilities. We live in a small village on the edge of the Peak District National Park. Bakewell (the nearest town) is a 10 minute drive away. Haddon Hall and Chatsworth Houses are near by. We are well positioned to view many of the Peak Districts main attractions. Lots of walking straight from the doorstep. There is a bus service from and to the village - roughly hourly - but this doesn't run into the late evening. Taxis are available - by advance booking mainly. However it is best to have your own transport to get here. Village pub is very quaint - and provides lunches only - not evening meals. Nearest pubs for evening food are 1 mile away in next door village of Birchover. Otherwise plenty of choice in the nearest towns of Bakewell and Matlock.
