The house was built in 1680 and carefully restored with love and passion only 7 years ago ! You can forget all your worries, and relax, enjoying your BBQ and a stunning view over the valley from the terrace. Wi-fi is perfectly working. Irola is a small medieval hamlet situated at an altitude of 400 m, in the municipality of Villafranca. The house, “Le Mura”, is an independent residence at the end of the village, which boasts a wide panoramic view of the Magra valley. “Le Mura” was originally a gradile, the typical peasant’s house of the Lunigiana region, where chestnuts were dried to produce the flour on which the local economy was based. Renovated in May 2006 it is now a charming, comfortable 100 sq. m. house distributed over 3 levels. Of particular interest is the large bathroom in the cave. This impressive room contains a small domestic spa with a distinctive double shower, retro style bathtub, double washbasin, fireplace, armchairs and candles, thus creating a unique ambient. The house has a large terrace furnished with small armchairs, table and sun umbrella, as well as a big garden with barbecue. The house contains bleached wood furniture, Italian designed lamps and comfortable areas in which to relax.
