Cosy guestroom near university + Dondersinstitute!

House is situated in friendly neighborhood in a beautiful lane. 5 min bike ride to university/hospitalcampus, city center, train station. Guestroom offers comfortable kingsizebed incl balcony w/streetview. Breakfast optional (€6,- extra in cash) but guest prepared. The room is not big (14m2) but really pleasant. Close to university campus, city center and Waalkade river boulevard. Bikeride to beautiful protected nature area Ooy in about 15 min. Also nearby German Reichswald and Sevenhillsroute with excellent cycling/hiking trails. Shared bathroom with owner. We can arrange use of bathroom according to mutual timetables. Guests can use my kitchen to prepare breakfast; costs 6€ cash. I'll supply the goods, breakfast used in guest room. (Or in the garden when the weather is fine!). A kind of self-room-service ;-)). I like to welcome my guests, to meet and make certain arrangements. Guests unknown to the area, I gladly inform on Nijmegen, the city and it's region with lots of good places to eat, see a movie, cycling and hiking trails, swimming and pick nick. I appreciate my guest's space and routine, as well as my own. In general I will be home, part from work/social schedule. Quiet, spacious, family friendly area in south of Galgenveld, next to Groenewoud. Variety of young families and elderly, living here for 40some years. The street is a quiet beautiful lane with old acacia's, blossoming each season again. Several schools nearby. This address is also very close to start and finish of Four Days Marches every year in july, about 10 min walk. Easy access from / to public transportstation; 2 train stations (Nijmegen central station/city center and Heyendaalstation near university campus), about 10 min. Busstop around the corner, 2 min. walk. Free parking in the street. For the second guest I charge 10€ pd extra. I appreciate my guest's space and routine, as well as my own. So please, on request in advance , use my kitchen facilities in the morning to prepare your breakfast. (6€ cash) I'll show you the way! Kitchen cannot be used for cooking.
