On colder nights the fully insulated Clubhouse is kept warm with a free standing fire surrounded by wool and sheepskin rugs. There are a range of original board games, cards and books. For the discerning fishermen, walk along the bay to fly fish or request access to launch one boat per guest booking to drop a line out at the point. Romantic & exclusive this self-contained clubhouse is nestled amongst native bush. Metres from the water's edge and free use of kayaks. The ClubHouse provides easy-care holiday living with original rustic walls, wooden floors and large new aluminium sliding doors that optimise the lake edge and sweeping view of the Bay. Two bedrooms- One queen and One twin king single Extra guest beds-please contact Host. Linen and bath towels are provided to make your stay stress-free. For exploring the lake, water-skiing, or trout fishing by boat there is restricted guest access to a shared ramp and private jetty to tie one boat. Guests are welcome to bring one boat per booking - Terms and Conditions apply, so please contact us for more information. We do not have rubbish collection and for this reason we kindly ask guests to drop all recycles and all household rubbish at the recycle depots in Rotorua. No dogs are permitted on the property or in the ClubHouse. Please respect the ClubHouse boundary as shown on a map in the ClubHouse. The surrounding land is privately owned property . Parking is behind the ClubHouse. There is Restricted boat ramp and jetty access. Please enquire. Our Rotoiti bach manager is a 20 minute drive away. Historically this bay has been viewed as the jewel in the crown in terms of location due to its privacy and exclusive nature. In addition to the many thermal wonderland attractions, the Redwoods is a must for some of the best mountain biking in NZ. If you are into kayaking , boating, hiking, fishing, golf it's all here readily available. Lake Rotoiti offers amazing fishing for those who want to try their luck fishing for rainbow trout. The lake is glassy more often than not for those interested in water skiing, and the amazing - Manupirua Hot Pools which are only accessible by boat. Waitangi soda spring hot pool is a mere 10 minute drive away if you do not have access to a boat. There are also plenty of bays and beaches on this lake that can be explored by boat or kayak. Additionally -Rotorua Airport 11 minutes drive away -20 minutes into the heart of Rotorua -1 hour to Tauranga -2 3/4 hours to Auckland For the comfort of all our guests we do not leave any basic cooking ingredients or food items in the ClubHouse.
