Beautifully appointed cottage in the heart of Hayfield Village , newly fitted kitchen and hand finished Italian furniture in sitting room. Well insulated, a lovely warm comfortable house. Sunny disposition with seating to the front of the house , walking distance to shops and pubs. Great location for exploring the Peak District walk out the door onto the hills. The house is suitable for a couple or couple with one child or 3 adults. The kitchen has super modern Neff induction hob, Neff oven and microwave. The sun rises at the back of the house in the morning for a sunny breakfast in the kitchen and open views of the hills The sitting room is spacious and bright with the sun setting at the front of the house late afternoon. The central heating system is very efficient in addition there is beautiful wood burner which heats the whole house in a short time and is great viewing if you have had enough of Netflix or TV !! There is an attractive patio at the front of the house with seating which is very sunny of an evening where you can say hi to neighbours if you wish. There is a shared garden to the rear of the property with a lockable shed for bikes- 2. The house is yours for your stay, there is a shared garden at the back of the property, and a sunny patio at the front. The parking is first come first served however there is always room to park nearby. I am happy for guests to access the key pad and let themselves in but to contact me if there are any problems, Hayfield is a friendly place with a good village atmosphere. There a 3 pubs and 3 cafes very nearby and all serve food. There are 2 well stocked village shops, and a great local butcher if you are a meat eater. There is a lovely park nearby if you do not want to walk the hills, or have a wander by the river Sett and feed the ducks. You can also have a leisurely walk down the Sett Valley trail and stop for coffee at the very unique Sett Valley Cafe - highly recommended. Regular bus service to New mills and Buxton, good train service to Manchester or Sheffield.
