Private & Airy Studio
The self contained studio is fresh and bright with a well appointed kitchen with microwave, gas cooktop and mini oven. Basic breakfast is supplied .The bathroom is compact with shower, heated towel rail & (Website hidden by Airbnb) studio has reverse cycle AC, internet, smart TV with Netflix. It is separate from the house and your privacy is ensured as a 1.8m fence divides the two. There is your own sitting area both in front of and behind the studio but you are also invited to use the spa in main garden. Just 2 Kms from Fremantle, the studio makes an ideal base without the Freo price tag. Less than 5 minutes walk to nearest bus to get to Freo or Murdoch train station. Nearby are local shops, eateries, takeaways and pub. Also near is a park and bowling club which has music on the weekends and great for reasonably priced food and drinks. Guests are welcome to use the spa, deck and main garden, but can also be private with their own garden area if wished. Bruno and Willow, the schnauzers, occasionally visit. Rose, the owner, is away for work frequently so we may or may not meet, but occasionally her son will be staying- happy to help via text or email with suggestions of where to go and things to do. If assistance is needed, guests can text or call Rose. The studio is private and completely separate from main house. ,The studio is set back in a quiet street but super close also to public transport. Beaconsfield is an older part of Perth and everything you need is within walking distance. You can enjoy a meal or live music at the local pub, there are coffee shops, plenty of variety if you want a take out ( Thai, Indian, Vietnamese, pizza, fish & chips) plus local shopping. Gilberts Fresh is great for fesh produce. For history, culture, the arts and entertainment, Fremantle is just a few minutes away by Uber, car, or bus. The airport is a direct trip via Leach highway and would cost around $35-45. Tip: for overseas guests, we use mainly Uber, Ola and DiDi in Australia as opposed to Grab in SE Asia. ( download the apps before you arrive) If you have a car a space is available at the front of the main house. The buses 998/999 are on South Street just a few minutes walk. The 998 gets you to Fremantle in about 5 minutes and connects with train station. The 999 brings you back and goes past Murdoch train station which is good for a fast train to Perth ( 12 minutes) Enjoy unlimited wifi Netflix 2 bikes are available to borrow with locks and helmets
