Breakfast included. Your room is newly renovated with self contained bathroom and kitchenette. Panoramic views of farmland and the Strzeleckie Ranges. Ample parking and private entrance. All linen and continental breakfast included. EV (electric vehicle) friendly. The room has a queen sized bed, 42 inch flat screen TV, Netflix streaming, DVD player, split system air con. and overhead fan. The bed has electric blankets. There are books, games and music available. Wireless internet and wireless printing is also available. The kitchenette is stocked with everything for a continental breakfast, and basic pantry needs. We always include milk, cereals, breads, butter, spreads, yoghurt, fresh seasonal fruit, chocolates and nuts. A range of teas is supplied. There is also a coffee pod machine and milk. A toaster, electric kettle, bar fridge, sandwich press and microwave are in your kitchenette. Additional cooking facilities are available in the BBQ area. While the room is set up for one couple, we are happy to accommodate families with a baby if you have your own cot. Guests are welcome to enjoy a stroll around our beef farm while they are staying, or can use our accommodation as a point from which to go exploring the area. A BBQ and undercover outdoor area is available. A comfortable deck area is adjacent to the room to admire the sunsets. We are an EV (electric vehicle) friendly site. We have a Tesla dedicated charger, as well as a J1772 charger that suits most other vehicles. Our supply is 32amp. Plug in and charge up free while you enjoy our accomodation. We are happy to greet guests upon arrival and leave them to enjoy the accommodation in complete privacy. However we are available if guests would like to spend some time with us getting advice about things to do and see in our gorgeous corner of Victoria. We are just a few minutes drive from the historic and picturesque Port Albert. Old Port Trail is a walking track from the house to Port Albert along the coastline. At Port Albert arguably the best fish and chips in Victoria are available. There is a cafe and restaurant here as well. Port Albert has excellent boating facilities and is a favourite fishing inlet. We are 20 minutes from Port Welshpool where Wildlife Coast Cruises depart for cruises to Wilson’s Promontory. Whales are often seen. At Port Welshpool the amazing long jetty offers a lovely stroll. Agnes Falls is a short drive up into the hills above Toora and Welshpool. The famous 90 mile beach, including Woodside Beach, is a 20 minute drive from the house. Tarra Bulga National Park is a pristine rain forest and is a 30 minute drive away. Wilson's Promontory National Park is an easy day trip from Port Albert. Nearby is the Yarram Golf Course which is rated in the top ten of volunteer managed clubs in Australia. Kangaroos are regular visitors to the golf course. We have had a renown artist, Heesco, painting numerous fantastic murals on the buildings around town. Take the tour. The courthouse gallery is a wonderful old building housing regularly changing art displays. Yarram has three great op shops Our area has so many nice places to see, it is probably best to have a car available for your sightseeing. There is safe parking available undercover. If you have a special car ask about that. Some of our guests look forward to venturing out each day to explore on foot, by bike or by car. However other guests just like to relax and enjoy the serenity of country life. We are happy to offer some simple food such as cheese platters and nachos to weary travellers who don’t feel like venturing out again. Ask for details and price if interested.
