Nestling against Hope mountain & surrounded by trees the apartment feels like a tree house. The garden is visited by many birds. Depending on time of year you will hear woodpeckers, owls and buzzards as well as the general song of smaller birds. Ample off street parking right by the apartment door. Come and stay in our beautiful, larger than average first floor apartment. We are in a lovely secluded area whilst having easy access to Chester, Wrexham and Mold. A little further away are Llangollen, Whitchurch and Oswestry and Liverpool, Manchester and Shrewsbury are only 1 hour away. We are located on the outskirts of the village of Caergwrle, a village well served by independent shops and take-aways. There are some nice restaurants within a short drive of the apartment. This is a perfect location for either a holiday or for people travelling to the area for business. We offer flexible options for staying from 1 night to long stays. The apartment has its own fully equipped kitchen and lounge diner as well as TV , freeSat box, and DVD player. Internet Wi-Fi is also available. The apartment is light and airy and decorated in a modern style. Massage and aromatherapy are available in the apartment. We also now offer Pamper Retreats. Please contact us for further details and prices. There is ample free off street parking available for guests - enough for at least 4 guest cars. Buses are available from the village into Mold, Chester and Wrexham. Train services run from Hope and Caergwrle into Wrexham, with mainline services available from Chester and Wrexham and parking available at both of these stations. We are able to cater for up to 4-5 people. The main bedrooms have either a double or king size bed with memory foam toppers for your added comfort. The single room is small and cosy, with a memory foam mattress. This room is the only room on the ground floor. As this room is quite small it is perfectly suitable for short stays but you may prefer to contact us prior to booking for longer stays to ensure that this room will meet your requirements. PLEASE let us know when booking the dynamics of your group so that we can set out the apartment appropriately, especially for parties of 3 or 4 - e.g. 3 singles and hence need the single room or 2 couples not needing the single room. The apartment is mainly situated on the first floor with open plan stairs leading directly onto the landing so please take this into consideration before booking with young children. We do not promote ourselves as child friendly although we do have a cot and a high chair. We are not able to cater for any pets. A selection of breakfast ingredients will be available in your kitchen. We will adapt to your requirements when you book whenever possible and with sufficient notice. We are a sociable couple who enjoy meeting other people. We live in the house next door so will be happy to help with anything you might need, but you will have your own space to relax. Please note that due to COVID 19 we have committed to an enhanced cleaning protocol. Whilst we have never previously charged for cleaning this enhanced cleaning protocol is very time consuming and unfortunately we need to charge for this time. The cleaning charge reflects the time to disinfect the apartment. We look forward to welcoming you. You will have access to the whole apartment. It has it's own front door so you can come and go as you please. We are happy to give you information about local places of interest, restaurants, shopping facilities etc. Please just let us know. We are rural but close enough to everything that you could want. The apartment is a great place from which to explore castles (there are ruins of one of significant importance to the area right here in the village - 15 minutes walk), gardens, and even shopping centres. Please ask us for more details. It is also a great place for outdoor activities of all kinds. Just a few miles away we have a fabulous mountain biking centre, and canoeing, horse riding and other activities are available locally. Please let us know if you want to bring bikes and we can arrange for storage in our garage. We have ample off-road, private, parking space - can accommodate 4 guest cars. Bus services are available from the village but infrequent. Trains are available from the village into Wrexham and Liverpool. You will need to change at Wrexham if you want to take the train into Chester.
