Ty Helyg is a fully equipped self catered property, near the centre of Llangollen (300m). It boasts its own parking and outdoor space with fire pit, BBQ and seating overlooking an old mill pond. With a secure outbuilding for bikes. Ty Helyg can sleep up to 6 people on a king / twin bed, bunkbed and a double sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen means you can cater for family if you decide on a night in. This property is geared up and best suited for families. We are a short walk from the town centre Full use of private sauna (Sauna requires a minimum of 1.5 hrs pre heating before use), and Private garden area with a secure outbuilding for bikes. The property has off road space for one guest vehicle. Guests will have private access from the off road parking space to the outdoor area, outbuilding storage and accommodation. This is via an external staircase. We live next to the property with a young family and are often around in the evenings and at weekends, so just knock on our door, alternatively we can be contacted by mobile or email. Llangollen is centre for outdoor activities in North East Wales. There are adventures from family day trips to more extreme pursuits. We have a spectacular range of walks from our doorstep. There is something for everyone. Advice on activities or routes is available from your Host who Is an active outdoor enthusiast. In addition, Llangollen is home to the International Eisteddfod, Llangollen Steam Railway and the Shropshire Union Canal World Heritage site. Llangollen is situated within the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The town boasts a great variety of cafes, pubs and restaurants. Regular bus links with the local train station (Ruabon/Chirk). Due to Covid-19 we have in place a strict cleaning process which will take place after each guests stay and before any check in.
