Kauri Lodge Karapiro

We live on a hill with amazing views of Maungatautari. Our farm has dairy cattle that we are rearing for the farmers to go into their herds. We have lovely gardens that you can walk around and their is a native bush area that you can walk by arrangement. Our apartment has two bedrooms with comfortable beds and a lounge /dining area with fully equipped kitchenette. it is light and airy and looks out down over the hills often displaying a magnificent evening twilight and sunset. Most of the time we are available at the Lodge and do try to anticipate your needs. if not we are always available by phone. We are a rural property but not far from place like Tirau, Cambridge and Matamata, all which have wonderful cafes, restaurants and shopping. Hobbiton is only 15 minutes away. Lake Karapiro hosts many water sporting events and during the summer is a great attraction for swimming and boating. Mystery Creek hosts the annual Farming Field days each year in June and other events throughout the year. Cambridge has a world top-class avantidrome for cyclists. A car is required if you want to get around to your locations.
