Quiet and secluded Shepherds hut in your own field
A gorgeous Shepherds hut in a secluded field (approx 0.75 acre) surrounded by trees, fields, and singing birds. The hut is set within the quiet village of Beckley (near Rye) offering a perfect retreat for couples looking for a relaxing time away from the daily hustle. Within the field is a canvass topped kitchen area, with gas stove, lighting, benches and table which creates the perfect dining space day and night. Your separate 'shower shack' and eco 'lav shack' offers self contained amenities. The field is 'your' secluded area - the shepherds hut sits towards the back of the field with the canopy covered 'lounge' space to the front and the shower shack and lav shack to the furthest rear, all close but all separate. The field is approx 0.75 of an acre, so more than enough space for the 4 legged variety..:) You can drive your car up onto the field if that is easier, equally if you want the field to be as empty as possible you can leave your car on a separate area near the field access, not far away but out of sight..:) I can answer and recommend anything that is needed during your stay, if the booking coincides with us been away, we can easily send instructions and recommendations as required. The village of Beckley is a quite little place, with a local pub - we are close (5mins) away from a bakery and a supermarket for your essentials, and of course 10mins away from the town of Rye, and another 5mins away from Camber and Winchelsea beaches - the other direction from Beckley will take you to the beautiful Bodiam Castle, so there is more than enough to see and do, there are many wood walks in walking distance from the hut too. A car is certainly a must here, again getting you to and from the lovely places around here. Come rain or shine there are always amazing places and activities around here, and again more than happy to recommend everywhere we know and love..:)
