La vigna di Carlo - Carlo's vineyard - Bed & wine

If you want to run away from the crowd of noisy towns this quiet country house is what you are looking for. It is just in the middle of an old vineyard where wine has been produced since the Sixties. It is just 15 minutes walk from the train station from which you can reach Venice and Treviso, but also Vicenza, Padova, Bassano del Grappa, Verona, Feltre. It is also very close to the Prosecco hills of Valdobbiadene, to the charming town of Asolo and many of the most famous Palladian villas. Smoking is allowed provided you smoke outside. Please note we do not have air conditioning: this is ideal if you want to enjoy the full warmth of a Southern Europe country. As wine lovers, it is our pleasure to welcome you with a glass of cool prosecco or another wine at our choice. Although breakfast is not provided, you will have a kettle with tea bags or coffee to take along the day at your pleasure. Just 5' walk is a grocery store that sells all you need for your staying. Just across the street we have a fine restaurant where you can enjoy a nice lunch or evening out, if you do not feel like cooking. Just 10 minutes walk is another restaurant with a long established enoteca, a wine bar, where you can taste a high number of wines. The train station is about 15' walk. There's also a bus stop not far from our house that will take you to Montebelluna or Treviso. Although public transport is not missing, we might suggest you to hire a car to stay at our place or to drive your own. Very easy rides to bike around.
