Surfside Style Port Kembla beach house

Our beautiful home is located in a quiet area, only a 1 1/2 hours drive south of Sydney/15-minute drive from the multicultural hub of Wollongong, on the South Coast. Just a short stroll away from the stunning Port Kembla beach and complimented with striking views of the escarpment stretching out behind Lake Illawarra and along to the saddleback mountain. We pride our place on being light, spacious and clean and have included all the necessities to make our home feel like your own. Furnished in a fusion of coastal, Indian and Indonesian style. Our place consists of 4 bedrooms (3 King size beds + 1 Queen). There is a well-equipped kitchen with an oven, microwave, toaster and kettle and a coffee pod machine for your convenience. The dining area seats 8 and we have two comfortable living and entertaining spaces, one with a large Samsung TV and access to Netflix and Spotify and a selection of classic board games and Jenga. As no summer is complete without an afternoon BBQ, our private back courtyard has seating and a grill available for your use; as well as an outdoor shower to wash off after a hot day. The house has a spacious bathroom with a shower and large bath, as well as a laundry with washing machine and dryer. We also have a double garage and driveway under the house. Guests have access to all areas except for our studio under the house, which is kept locked. We also rent out a health clinic and spa space downstairs and guests are able to arrange massages and other treatments through us if they would like. The house is all yours and we will not be present during your stay, you are however very welcome to contact us any time and we live just around the corner so are available to help if need be. Our place has a self-check-in lockbox so late check- in's aren't a problem. Port Kembla, as the name suggests is historically a seaside port town but with an evergrowing multicultural population, and something to please everyone it's becoming one of the Illawarra's most popular tourist destinations. With a world-famous beach just around the corner, and the Olympic boulevard Eatery (licensed and open late) placed conveniently between the stunning Olympic ocean pool, it's the perfect place to spend your long summer days. There is a large and diverse range of cuisines, all within a 15 min drive. We have bikes available for your use, and a bus to other towns comes to the corner of the street regularly, as well as an hourly train to and from Port Kembla station (we use Opal cards for both, you can buy these at newsagents or buy single use tickets. The house has a large set of marble stairs which may be a problem to use, for those who aren't able-bodied, please take this into consideration when booking as we want all our guests to be able to enjoy our space. In saying that all kinds of people are accepted and welcomed in our home.
