Somerset Heaven - Southfield Garden Annex

Southfield Garden Annex is part of a family home situated on the edge of the Somerset levels. Accessed by a private driveway, we offer a lovely area for you to relax. An enclosed decked area and small patio give you the option to sit and enjoy your surroundings. The Annex has been completely refurbished to a high standard and offers a sleek and modern kitchen/ living area and en-suite shower-room with double bedroom. This is self-catering accommodation with some breakfast provisions. The living area is open planned and includes the kitchen and dining area, with patio doors to decking and garden. A fully fitted kitchen includes induction hob and fully integrated oven and microwave. A fridge with ice box is built in. Our property is situated within 2.5 acres of ground, where we also host Caravan and Motorhome visitors (5 pitches). Guest are welcome to walk around our field and garden and enjoy the views. As this is part of a family home, we are of course on site. We love to interact with our guests, but also happy to give them space to enjoy their own time as we understand this is their holiday time. We are available for advice on the local area and places to visit. Can also offer some advice on the good places to eat! Happy to be contacted by text or a knock on the door! 😊 Situated on the edge of the Somerset levels we are within an area of natural beauty. The perfect place to stay and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the surrounding area. A short distance from many attractions and amenities. Willows and Wetland trust and RSPB nature reserves within a short distance. Glastonbury Tor and Abbey within 15 miles. The village of North Curry is within 2.5 miles and offers post office and stores, public house with good food, a charity coffee shop and hairdressers. We are also within easy reach of some beautiful coastline, Lyme Regis (Beach Hut hire available check the local Lyme Bay Council for daily rates), Sidmouth and Beer an hour to the south and Watchet, Blue Anchor and Dunster and hour to the north. The town of Taunton is a 15 minute travel, or catch the bus from our doorstep. We are also close to the M5 at either the Bridgwater Services junction 24 or the Taunton junction 25. If your stay is for a special occasion, we are happy to arrange for those additional touches; i.e flowers, chocolates or champagne at additional cost on your behalf.
