Whether you're simply looking to escape the bustle of Madrid or you're exploring this part of Spain, we hope you'll feel at home in our spacious house and shared garden. Becerril is the perfect place to base yourself for hiking or just relaxing. We're in a quiet neighbourhood, just a short walk from the town centre, where you'll find plenty of great restaurants. We live in a separate house in same garden. You'll share the garden and the pool with us but not with any other guests or neighbours. The house has a large family kitchen with both a dining area and a sitting area. It looks out onto the garden at the front and opens out onto a backyard where a large granite table offers a cool summer dining area. A comfortable living room makes up the rest of the ground floor and also overlooks the garden. Upstairs consists of 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms: a spacious master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, two double bedrooms, a smaller bedroom with a 120cm bed and a separate bathroom. The host lives on the property in a separate dwelling. The garden provides both sunny and shady areas all day long during the summer months, with garden furniture that can be moved into or out of the sun as desired. It is a shared garden in a residential neighbourhood, for this reason we ask guests not to play music or make lots of noise in the garden. The garden is perfect for children to play in, although young children should be supervised as the swimming pool is not fenced off. Please note, there is not a barbecue. Guests have the entire house to themselves. They share the garden and pool with the host family. The pool is open in July and August, and depending on the weather, part of June and September. Please note, there is no barbecue available for the guests. We're always happy to help. If you need anything just give us a shout. We live in a separate house but in the same plot and share the garden and pool with the guests The property is located in a quiet part of the village, at most, a 10 minute walk from the centre. There is a small children's play park on our street and a small stream close by. For those who want refreshments close to home there is a bar less than 5 minutes away and a gourmet kitchen which sells homemade meals to take away. In the centre of the village there are plenty of restaurants and bars, many of which offer quality spanish food. I would be happy to recommend them to you. Ideally a car is recommended, there are so many wonderful places to visit nearby, it would be a shame to be limited by transport. Saying that, if what you want is a place to relax, some pleasant walks in the forest or around the lake, plus some good restaurants, a car really isn't that necessary. There is a fairly good bus service to Madrid.
