Great Urswick is a peaceful south Lakeland village conveniently located close to the market town of Ulverston as well as Bardsea Beach. Hideaway is only a 5 minute walk to the cozy village pub - The General Burgoyne offers lovely food and drink. 5 minute walk to the village playground. 5 minute drive to the market town of Ulverston - a fantastic unique town - with independent shops, bars, cafes and restaurants. 5 minute drive to several supermarkets. Bowness on Windermere and the heart of the Lake District is approximately 30 minute drive. Keen walkers have the entire Lake District on their doorstep aswell as plenty of quiet public footpaths straight out of the front door. South Lakes Safari Zoo is only a 10 minute drive away. The best way to get to us and enjoy the area is by car.
