Rustic and Cosy B&B at Bumbleberry Cottage

A unique, rustic and cosy B&B, set in the village of Gresford: home to one of The Seven Wonders of Wales. Centrally located on the border between Wales and England and close to many places such as Llangollen, Liverpool, Chester and Snowdonia. Bumbleberry Cottage is quaint, quirky and decorated with the host's eclectic and charming style. Your stay is inclusive of continental breakfast, wifi, private parking, toiletries and tea/coffee making facilities. Upstairs, guests can enjoy a clean and comfortable stay in a large, beautiful south facing bedroom. The room has a king sized bed with an ensuite bathroom. The room is well equipped with a TV, toiletries, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, towels : additional facilities, such as an iron or fan are available on request. Downstairs, set off from the guest's lounge is a spacious, south facing patio with large garden, overlooking fields and farms. Guests can enjoy a guest's lounge with open fire place for relaxing, unwinding and enjoying their breakfast, with French windows opening on to a large sunny patio. Outside, there is ample, secure, private parking space available on site. There is guest parking at the front of Bumbleberry Cottage. Your friendly host will meet and greet you on arrival, and will be readily available during your stay. Your host has a good knowledge of the area and has recommendations for every taste. A complimentary continental breakfast will be served from 7.30am -10am. If guests prefer, there is an optional breakfast menu with a range of tasty items such as: a full English breakfast (for a small extra charge).The produce is locally sourced where possible. The Bed and Breakfast is situated in the village of Gresford; home to the Gresford Bells, which are one of The Seven Wonders of Wales. Off road parking is offered to all guests. The Bed and Breakfast is located 3 miles from Wrexham and 9 miles from the City of Chester: known for its Roman heritage, picturesque waterfront, unique city centre and the Uk's largest zoo. Bumbleberry Cottage is also less than an hour away from the cities of Liverpool and Manchester (and their airports). The picture postcard Welsh town of Llangollen is a mere 14 miles away and the popular town of Oswestry, 17 miles. People with a love for the outdoors will find plenty of walking and cycling routes in the nearby area, including the Denbighshire countryside and Snowdonia, which is only 1 hour's drive away. The Bed and Breakfast is close to the main bus route between Chester and Wrexham. The nearest train stations are Wrexham and Chester. The Bed and Breakfast is less than an hour from Manchester and Liverpool airport. Bumbleberry Cottage is a 5 minute walk away from the village of Gresford, where there are several shops and restaurants. The Bed and Breakfast is ideally situated for visiting the Chester Races, or viewing the amazing International Eisteddfod in Llangollen. A dog and cat also live at Bumbleberry Cottage, but they are kept away from all guest areas and can be easily relocated upon request.
