Hobbit House
I apologize, but I am only comfortable with female guests, since we share living space. A small spiral staircase leads up to a quaint bedroom with a desk, plenty of closet space and a comfortable twin size bed. It is an older house (1931) with lots of character. I will provide a basic breakfast usually consisting of yogurt, eggs and and kuerig for hot drinks. I have a small coffee maker if you prefer that. I have a calm Sheltie who will more than likely be sleeping most of the time. Up a spiral staircase is an open room and along side that is a small air conditioned cozy room with a single bed, dresser, night stand, 2 lamps and a small closet. The spiral staircase is tight so if you need help, I will be more than happy to help you with it. The bathroom and kitchen are shared downstairs. I do allow cats or dogs, but do charge a pet fee of $25, would ask for more if the pet damages anything. It is made for one person, but I can make an exception for 2 females if needed, just ask before booking. I will give you a code for the front door and garage before you get here. You will have access to the basement which includes the laundry room, the main floor has a full bath, kitchen, living room and TV. I should be able to help you with anything you need, I may be in and out with work and errands. I live in a very quiet neighborhood, a few kids scattered and lots of people walking dogs. I live walking distance to a park with a playground, basketball court, picnic tables and baseball diamond. There are restaurants near by including Culver's, Wendys, McDonalds, Arbys, Dennys, Chinese and Asian Fusion, Qdoba. There is also a Pick N Save, Office Depot. There is a strip mall with UPS, dollar store, Hallmark, Cost Cutters. These are all just a couple miles down the road. If you drive more into downtown Waukesha, there is a lot more to offer also. Milwaukee is 25-30 minutes away, depending on traffic. You can catch a bus walking distance from my house. Ubers and Lyfts are a good option if you do not have transportation. I am so sorry but I am only comfortable with females. Please do not park on the street or you may be ticketed. We may have to swap our cars depending on our schedules, but you can usually park on the concrete on the side of the driveway.
