Cotswold stone cottage. Sleeps 10

Frogmarsh Mill cottage is a stunning stone cottage in the beautiful valley of South Woodchester. It is full of character and charm. In the lounge is a original inglenook fireplace with a little bread oven ! A log burner is now in place for you to enjoy. Logs are provided. You enter the spiral staircase though a door from the lounge to the first floor where there is a family bathroom and double bedroom. Round you go to the next bedroom with two double fitted bunk beds Round again to the top double bedroom with beautiful white painted beams ! Please note that it is a very old cottage so you need to mind your head because some of the door opening are low !! The Kitchen is well equipped with Boiling water tap, hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer, washer/dryer, coffee machine. Next to the kitchen is the dinning room with a lovely long dinning table, wine fridge, sono speakers. Above the dinning room is a TV room with comfy seating and a flat screen tv showing Netflix and iPlayer. The fourth double bedroom is in a separate building just by the front door it has lovely big walk in shower large basin and wc ! We use The white company linens and towels. Outside at the front of the cottage is a paved private courtyard. You can park outside the cottage by the metal green gates only 3 cars will fit. if any more we have a car park around the corner. Always available by texting or emailing any problems we are only 5 minutes away. We have a lock box just inside the front gate so guests can arrival whenever you like after 4pm. We are 1.5 miles away from the lovely town of Nailsworth definitely worth a visit. Places to eat 😋 which we eat at ourselves ! Williams kitchen delicious fresh fish and seafood lunches. Monday to Saturday. Open one evening Friday only. The canteen behind Domestic Science Middle Eastern food. Breakfast and lunches Hobbs Bakery for breakfast and lunches Artisan breads and pastries. Wild Garlic for brunch lunch and dinner Fabulous inventive food. There sister restaurant is Wilder and is very special serving a tasting menu Shopping in Nailsworth Domestic Science is room after room of gorgeous life style goodies. Also sells small selection of cotton and linen clothes. Honey trap Is a great mix of bang on trend fashio (Website hidden by Airbnb) 🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷 We are 3.5 miles from Stroud which has a farmers market every Saturday morning a must for food lovers. Delicious local veg meats breads cheeses etc. Bath and Cheltenham are about 45 minutes away both fabulous for shopping and eating !! We are 6 miles 14 minutes drive to the very pretty market town of Tetbury Here you will find many interior and antique shops. Sassy boo, Anna Lizzio, Moloh, are great fashion shops. Good cafes to eat in and just a fun town to walk round. Pubs The Bell at Selsley severs delicious food and local beers The Fleece at Rooksmoor north Woodchester really good Sunday lunch. Stroud Brewery is a brilliant business which has gone from strength to strength highly recommended if you love real ale and home made wood fired Pizzas. You can’t book so need to go early ! Thursday and Friday from 5 to 11 Sat 12 to 11. Thistledown cafe is another thriving local business situated above Woodchester park 3 miles away 10 min drive. Fantastic for children open fields beautiful views ! Wood fried oven great pizza but much more Ottolenghi style cooking. Need to book for Sunday lunch it’s not traditional roasts but delicious! Winston ice cream on Rodborough common is fun with the kids beautiful walks around the common with spectacular views. It is best to bring a car as we are on the edge of a little village. We are 15 mins from Stroud train station. We have some lovely walks from the cottage we have left details of them. Woodchester Mansion is on our door step. It is owned by the national trust has 5 lakes you could walk around it is stunning ! We also have a local vineyard Woodchester Valley wines just up the lane from the cottage who give tours and tastings again details in the cottage.
