This South Lakeland twin lodge is a great place to relax and unwind, enjoy the superb on-site facilities including a gym, indoor swimming pool, restaurant and bar, together with a beauty spa for therapies and treatments. This tastefully furnished Carnforth lodge features a bright and spacious open plan living area with a cosy sitting area with doors leading out to a decked terrace, a dining area and a modern, well-equipped kitchen. Two lovely bedrooms, one with en-suite, and a bathroom complete the layout, providing the ideal holiday home for that much-deserved break. As well as excellent on-site facilities, this popular site also has a pretty lake where you can enjoy a picnic, and the children in your party will be delighted to visit its feathered residents. This delightful South Lakeland lodge is located close to Arnside and Silverdale – an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and home to the RSPB Leighton Moss Nature Reserve, which is the largest reedbed in North West England, and home to some special birds such as breeding bitterns, bearded tits and marsh harriers. It also has an abundance of wildlife, including deer and butterflies. There are lovely walks from the doorstep, the walk to nearby Leighton Hall is a real delight and well worth a visit. This South Lakeland lodge in Carnforth is perfectly placed to explore the Lake District National Park, which can be reached within thirty minutes’ drive, a wonderful place to enjoy walking trails where you can often spot butterflies and rare birds. This charming South Lakeland lodge occupies a lovely location for friends or families, whatever the time of year (excluding 6th January to 6th February). Additional charges (approx) for use of leisure facilities as follows - Individual adult £10 per day, £26 for 3 days and £50 per week; Individual child £6 per day, £16 for 3 days and £30 per week; Family pass (up to 2 adults and 3 children) £20 per day, £56 for 3 days and £120 per week; Under 4s free of charge. The park and amenities are shared with other lodge owners and their guests. I am available via email, phone or text most of the time. Local general assistance from the park manager (amenities, directions, weather etc) who is based on site. The cleaner is available for any missing / replacement items. We have hosted with another provider since 2014 and with Airbnb since February 2019. The lodge has WiFi, 3 TVs with DVD players, a chromecast plugged into the main TV and lots of games, DVDs etc to enjoy your break. A detailed holiday guide is in the lodge. So much to do come rain or shine with the countryside, towns and City of Lancaster all within easy reach. A car is essential to see the Lake District but there are also local trains, taxis and buses.
