Lovely rooms in creative family home.

Creative Family home The house has been part of my family for a long time. I have always found it a wonderful retreat and I am happy to be able to share that experiece with you. Set in the Worcestershire countryside with easy reach of the M5 and not far from the Malvern Hills. The house is Georgian, the last extension going on in 1826 and besides some modern plumbing very little has changed since then. It has a quiet, simple appeal, with a relaxed and unhurried atmosphere. You are welcome to wander in the gardens and walk through the orchard and meadow. You have your own kitchen and are welcome to share the dining room and piano room. I am home most of the time, as my pottery workshop is on site. It is a pretty big house so i'm here to help but won't infringe on your privacy. There is The Yorkshire Grey Inn at Earls Croome or The Jockey at Baughton within walking distance, both do excellent food. A little further is the Rose and Crown at Severn Stoke and Upton-Upon-Severn is a mile and a half away and walkable and the 3 counties show ground is a 10 minute drive. Also Worcester is an interesting town only 15 mins drive and historic Tewkesbury only 10. The Malvern Hills are a glorious walk and less than 20 mins drive away. Cheltenham is also simple to get to from here. You probably need a car but there are train stations near by; Pershore, Ashchurch or Malvern depending on where you are coming from. I do not have a TV!...but I do have wifi. I have 3 cats. I keep chickens, including a collection of rather smart roosters. There are sometimes 2 teenagers and a junior on site. I provide milk, tea & coffee and basic breakfast ingredients; in your own kitchen. Please let me know of any dietary requirements.
