FAQ's Do I Need to Buy Insurance? No, you are fully covered under our insurance. Please make sure you can provide all the following: * Be aged between 21 and 75 * Have held a full UK or EU driving licence for a minimum of 2 years * Have not had their licence suspended for any period within the last 3 years * Have not been involved in more than one fault incident within the last 3 years * Have no more than 2 convictions with a maximum of 3 points per conviction. * Valid UK driving licence * 2 utility bills providing proof of address dated within 3 months of the hire date Do I Need to Pay a Deposit? Yes, we ask for an initial deposit of £100. This is a requirement of the insurance company and will be retuned fully to you upon return of the vehicle. How Many People Can Sleep in the Van? Up To 4 Adults. There are two comfy Beds that are spacious. Can We Leave Our Car with You When We Hire the Camper? Yes, your personal vehicle can be kept at our address until you return. Is It Warm Enough to Use through Winter? Yes! We have a full internal heating system that safely heats the Van, it is extra toasty and snug through the Winter Months. Can I Take the Van Abroad? No, we ask that you remain within the Mainland UK. You are however, free to go as far as you wish within the UK. Is the Van Expensive to Run on Diesel? No, it is very economical. A Full tank of Diesel will last around 750 miles. Does the Van have a Toilet? No, our guest have told us they would prefer the extra space over a toilet. Do you provide bedding? We supply the fitted sheets I am available to answer and queries or questions you have. Based in the heart of the Lake District...we are just a stone through away from Windermere and surrounding areas. Truly one of the most beautiful places to visit and stay.
