Mimosa Ridge- Tranquil Heritage House

This century old traditional Assam type house is very warm and cozy and has a beautiful lawn and garden. The trees surrounding the house are adorned with wild orchids and are home to various birds. The rooms are very spacious and have an old British bungalow feel. You can truly relax and feel like home here yet just 300m away from the main Shillong road (highway6)/ many restaurants & shops/taxi and bus. 400m to Firebrigate, 1km to Laitumkhrah, 3km to Police Bazar. Normal occupancy is 4 guests. Guests will have access to 2 very spacious bedrooms (2 queen beds), which both have attached bathrooms. There is also a kitchenette and a small dining space. Guests are welcomed to enjoy the lawn and garden space. I provide heater and bed warmers for both rooms and bed. The mattress are both premium brand and high end hotel quality, as well as the duvets and linen. The kitchen is equipped with a good size fridge, kettle, induction, sauce pan and frying pan, cutting board, knives, cutlery, plates, bowls, glasses ....etc. It is suitable to make simple meals. *Extra people/pets EXTRA COST. Max up to 5 people. Please do not show up with extra people (or pets) without noticing. *The other half of the house is occupied by the owner* *Entry is separate for the guests.* Free onsite parking. Very safe neighbourhood, only 290 metres away from the main Shillong road with shops and taxis/ buses. I give my guests space but am available when needed. The house is located at Jingkieng (Firebrigate) area. The locality is very safe. the location is great as it is just 2-3 minutes walk from the main road, that has a lot of shops and a bus stop and taxi stop. Excellent to get around by foot or public transportation. free parking available. House is close to all forms of transportation. 1. No driver’s accommodation (*if the driver's are not staying with you please ask drivers to pre arrange for themselves) 2. DURING COVID: Contact-less check in and check out. 3. PETS Pets are only allowed in condition and upon advance request with additional charges depending on the size. Please enquire when booking. 5. SMOKING NO smoking allowed inside the house and no littering cigarette buds outside the house. Any violation to smoking rules will follow an additional cleaning charge starting from 10000rs. 6. ALCOHOL Alcohol consumption is allowed as long as guests are responsible of their actions. (Cleanliness/ no damage/ no violence/ no drama/ voice down at quiet hour). Any damage will follow heavy charge. 6. QUIET HOUR Noise down 11pm- 7am.
