Bed and breakfast Drymen. Perfect 1st night on WHW
Viewfields, is a detached family home in the centre of Drymen, and is a perfect location to rest after day 1 of the West Highland Way. Guests will have access to their own private shower room and are welcome to use our lounge, kitchen and utility room for drying clothes. The double bedroom is on the first floor and is private from the rest of the house. Viewfields is a late 19th century house with a modern interior with a lovely south facing garden, which guests are welcome to enjoy If guests wish they can use our lounge area for relaxing and the kitchen for preparing packed lunches Our family have lived in the Drymen area for 20 years and we are happy to answer any questions you may have about the surrounding area or the West Highland Way Drymen is a small Stirlingshire village on stage 1 of the The West Highland Way walking route which starts in Milingavie and heads north to Fort William. The village has 2 pubs, 2 hotels and on a Thursday evening the pipe band plays in the village square during July and August Located 18 miles from Glasgow, 40 minute drive to city centre or train to city centre from Balloch ( 5 miles) or Milingavie (10 miles) Breakfast for 2 is included in the room rate.
