Turn left to Manipay - Kaithadi Road at Urumpirai Junction. Land mark- 100 metres from a school (Urumpirai Sandrothaya Vidyasalai) and situated on the left side of Manipay Road. If you are travelling by private vehicle you can turn right from A9 route to Manipay - Kaithadi Road at Kaithadi and it will take you to Urumpirai. It is 10.2km, 20 minutes. From Jaffna International Airport to Urumpirai is 11.7km, 21 minutes. The house has a name board ‘ MATHURA’. Once you book, you will be provided with Caretaker's contact details and he will assist you. Once your booking is confirmed, I will send you the Care Taker's contact number and email you a map with directions to the holiday home. Guests have access to the formal lounge,dining room, fridge, TV, front and back yard, kitchen for making tea and coffee and free parking is available. Manager/ Care Taker Emetson is staying with his wife and child in one room annexed to the home. He will guide as required. The house is located in the area of Urumpirai, which is a serene, safe, family-orientated neighbourhood. It is a 15 minute drive or easy public transport to the bustling Jaffna town, which is lively, has markets, restaurants, cinemas, tourist attractions, ancient forts, towers and ruins. The peaceful Casuarina Beach is a one hour excursion from Jaffna town. Beautiful ancient Hindu temples and farms are within walking distance from the house for you to explore. Discounts available for long stays. Autos/tuktuks are available, or you may wish to hire a van. Caretaker can help guide you. House is walking distance to food cafes, public buses, doctor, banks & shops. Trains are available in Jaffna town or Chunnakam. Easy access to all tourist attractions. Urumpirai is situated 7.6 kilometers from the Jaffna town, Jaffna Railway station and Nallur. The distance between Urumpirai and Kankesanthurai Civilian Airport is 8.3km.
