It’s not just a bedroom room! It is a beautiful suite with high ceilings. You will feel how relaxing the property is as you come through the gates. The 104 year-old, schoolhouse charms Guests with its peaceful style. This Suite offers a separate entrance, a high,king-size bed, fine linens, sitting area, bath w jacuzzi jet tub and a full homemade breakfast served to you in the privacy of your Suite. Free WiFi and TV. Guests will find complimentary coffee, drinks and snacks in the armoire. The schoolhouse was once busy with plays, town meetings, and weddings. The remodel is unique in keeping with the feel of vintage charm and peacefulness. The pillowtop king bed, fireplace, deep jacuzzi await guests to relax and enjoy. This schoolhouse is a little piece of Texas history, built in 1916, school started in 1917 continued till 1942 when it was closed. The old playground bar is still here. Previous owners did a lot of research collecting information, photos, and stories about the place. People who visit love the peaceful easy feeling. It was here before Eagle Mountain Lake was built. The host is happy to give a tour of the schoolhouse with prior notice given. Our Guests are welcome to walk around on the property. The property sits on a hill with beautiful views. Especially, we love the sunrises with coffee in hand. 😊 When walking there are stickers in pasture areas. So, wear your shoes outside. Watch for deer droppings. You are on five acres so be careful of the wildlife passing through. The property is gated for privacy. Code needed/given for entry. Covered parking is available for our Guests. If needing space for parking, there is plenty of parking in the pasture for a boat and a horse trailer. Porches, lawn, and the Red Barn Patio welcome Guests to sit and relax awhile. Blankets available to lay on under the large oak. Hammock available too. Our Guest may use the Red Barn Patio with horseshoes and fire pit. (We follow burn bans so prior approval required. Also, if it is windy we don’t allow burning.) We are available by phone and text. We do live on property. We deliver breakfast to the suite and or porches. If you need us, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We have friendly neighbors. People walking dogs, biking, taking boats to the lake. Motorcyclist and bicyclist like to ride on Liberty School Road it’s a hilly area. Sometimes you can hear someone's rooster crowing. Watch deer feeding in the pastures. Watch birds, owls, cranes, and raccoons, and even a skunk has shown up. We are close to several wedding venues. 25 minutes to downtown Ft. Worth. Nascar fans stayed with us last year. 45 minutes from there. They thought the ride to the race track wasn't too far. They said they would be coming back. GoGo Gumbo, a destination restaurant, less than 15 minutes north. This place only has 14 tables but stays constantly busy. BYOB, go early, you could have a wait out the door. Yes, it's that good! Capriccio Italino’s , 5 minutes away, dine in or delivery.
