With a luxurious feel, a real couples retreat in a fantastic corner plot of the new Yealands development, with gazebo and hot tub in a superb secluded spot The entrance door leads into the hallway, a great space for leaving coats and shoes, to the front of the lodge is an open plan living/kitchen/diner, with picture windows and French doors leading onto a furnished veranda. To the rear of the lodge with a Twin bedded room, family bathroom and a King bedded room with en-suite shower room. There is a Pool, Spa, Gym, Steam Room payable locally, Restaurant and Bar on the park. Fishing is also allowed on the main lake. The smaller Carp lakes are payable to either the Bailiff or the parks reception. £6 per day for 1 rod, £7 for 2 and concessions We will give you a key safe code on booking, with directions to the lodge. Inside the property is a guest information book and an appliance folder. The Lake District... Ideally located close to the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales and even closer to Arnside and Silverdale, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty is just 5 miles away. Ideal for walking the Wainright Walks, cycling on the Lancashire cycle path. Golf at Silverdale, Morecambe or Kendal. You will be close to the RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss where you will find an array of bird life. At nearby Newby Bridge you will discover the Lakes Aquarium where you can also take a lake cruise along the length of Lake Windermere. For a traditional shopping experience you can visit nearby, Kirby Lonsdale, Kendal or Bowness-on-Windermere. There is also the historic town of Lancaster with its impressive castle, well worth taking a guided tour of. Borwick... For places of historic interest there is Leighton Hall, Levens Hall and Sizergh Castle that are all within 10 minutes drive. See the film set for the film Brief Encounter at Carnforth Station just 5 minutes drive. Enjoy a days course fishing just 5 minutes away at Borwick Water or Tewitfield. There is also trout fishing close by. Greenlands Farm Village just 5 minutes away (ideal for the little ones). There is the Diving Centre at Carpenwray that is just a ten minute drive away. Also local is Lakeland Wildlife Oasis the North Wests favorite Little Zoo where you can see the Snow Leopards, just 5 miles away. Golf at Silverdale just 15 minutes drive. We are in semi rural area, 5 mins from the M6, Train station in Carnforth and local bus service. We would recommend arriving by car. There is a pool, gym, Spa, Restaurant and bar on the park. 30 mins from Lake Windermere, 20 mins from the beach at Morecambe Bay. Lots of walks and places to see, eat and just relax.The lodge is rented out for a minimum of 3 nights. All linen and towels are provided. If you wish to use the leisure facilities you may wish to bring some extra towels. Full use of on site leisure facilities is payable locally. Beds are made up prior to your arrival. This is a no smoking lodge. No over occupancy. No under 25's allowed without prior to consent
