Glaziers Bay Cottage near Cygnet

Glaziers Bay Cottage is a colonial style building with modern facilities. It features 2.7m ceilings, walk in robe, open plan living area and kitchen. Ten minutes from Cygnet with magnificent views of vineyards, the Hartzview mountains, the Huon River and adjacent to Fat Pig Farm. Cereals, local free range eggs, bread, milk, orange juice, tea and coffee included for a DIY breakfast. I have a two night minimum booking - I'm really sorry but one night bookings just don't work for me. This accommodation is a 12 year old colonial style cottage. It is a completely separate dwelling with its own carport. It features timber floors and rugs. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, bidet, vanity unit, above vanity cupboard, and a ceiling mounted light/heater combination. The laundry/utility area has a small wardrobe, washer and dryer with ironing board, clothes rack and iron. The bedroom has a queen sized bed and a walk-in robe. Access is through the carport. One bedroom in the cottage is a locked store room - please see the floor plan. The 5 acre block has grassed areas, terraces and a small terrace under the gum tree which the WiFi reaches. I am around most of the time and can help with any difficulties. Nearby Cygnet and Huonville have a range of cafes, hotels and supermarkets. The immediate vicinity is rural, with cherries, wine, saffron, apples, vegetables, dairy and beef cattle and a thriving arts and crafts scene. Fat Pig Farm is right next door and a walk to the end of our road will take you to the Huon River. There's plenty to do and see in this beautiful part of Tasmania. A taxi service is available , as are buses from Cygnet, but exploring with your own vehicle is the way to go. A cooked breakfast is not provided, however, cereals, local free range eggs, fresh bread, orange juice, milk, teas and coffee are provided. Due to the rural nature of the area guests will need their own vehicle. Please note if you are bringing a motorhome or similar, the power and water are NOT available for the vehicle. Electricity and water is for use only within the accommodation so if you need power or water to your vehicle, please consider the Caravan/RV park in Cygnet.
