Les Vignes 2 bedrooms for 3 people + cot

Le Manoir du Cèdre dates from 1600 and is situated alongside the unique medieval village of Castelmoron D'Albret. It is the smallest commune in France. Les Vignes gite - sleeping 3 people, has a small laundry room, kitchen, lounge, a 'jack & jill' bathroom, dressing room that links the two bedrooms, 1 x 5ft bed, 2 x single beds. There is also a cot available at no extra charge. Le Manoir du Cèdre and the gites are set around a courtyard, with 1 hectare of gardens surrounding the hedged and fenced property, and plenty of secure parking. The gites and house date to the 17th century, and have been fully renovated. There is full Wifi connection to all properties. There is a table tennis table and plenty of room to play boules. Hammocks are provided in the garden. The garden is maintained weekly. The swimming pool, 10m x 5m and fenced, is private, and for the sole use of guests. There are sun loungers and umbrellas provided. It is not heated. The pool is situated on its own a few steps from the gites. The sun is on the pool all day. Each gite has full gas central heating if required, which is charged for as an extra, if used, at 80 Euros per week per gite. There are terraces for each gite with barbeques, tables, chairs, and each terrace has a pull out awning essential for shade. There is a welcome pack for each gite and of course the essential bottle of wine. Cots and a fold out bed can be provided for children. Each gite has a television, DVD player and Video player. Also provided are CD players with a radio. Petit Albret gite does not have satellite television and can only be used for playing DVDs. Les Vignes gite has freeview satellite television. I live on site with my dog and cat. Guests have full use of all the grounds and pool. The pool is closed between October and April. Castelmoron d'Albret is within easy reach of all local weekly markets and night markets during the summer months. 10kms away is Monségur and the summer Jazz Festival. Saint Emilion is a short drive away. Wine tours can be arranged for guests. Within a one minute walk from the gites there is a shop, where bread and croissants can be ordered daily for collection. There is also a lovely bar serving alcohol and coffee at the rear of the shop,with views over the valley. A car is essential. Le Manoir du Cèdre is comprised of 2 separate Gîtes that both sleep 4 people plus a cot. They can be rented individually or together. Please see my other listing for Les Vignes. Each gîte has its own terrace which is not overlooked. The pool is shared. We also offer in house Pilates lessons by a qualified instructor.
