Cozy house+garden in the hills near Budapest

Zsíroshegyi Vendégház II- New luxurious wooden cottage in a huge private garden, perfect for relaxation! On the ground floor: living room with open kitchen, dining table and a sofa which opens into a double bed. The bathroom is also on this floor with a shower and a washing machine. The bedroom with a double bed is on the first floor. There is a (gas) fireplace, an air-conditioning and floor heating in the house. Tourist tax: 300 HUF/day/person (must be payed upon arrival) This cottage is the perfect place to relax and get away from the busy city, but still can reach Budapest by a car within 20-25 minutes! Nagykovácsi is a small town 15 km from Budapest, in a valley, at an altitude of 400 metres, surrounded by the two highest peaks of the Buda mountains around Budapest. The town is known for its scenic setting in surrounding hills and forests, and much of the nearby forest have been designated conservation areas—Budai Tájvédelmi Körzet (the "Buda Land Protection Area")—in order to protect several rare species of flora growing there. The area is full of hiking trails and peaks with scenic views. The cottage is situated 20 metres from Hungary’s National Blue Trail, in a quiet surrounding on the northern edge of Nagykovácsi. The whole cottage and the garden is only for the guests. I will be available during your stay. In the vicinity there are numerous hiking destinations, like the Csergezán lookout tower on the Mountain Nagy-Kopasz (10 km) and the Mountain peak of Nagy-Szénás with amazing 360 view (2km). There is also a nearby viewpoint of Pilis mountains, the peak of Zsíros-hegy, only 500 metres from the cottage. You can go literally in any direction and find perfect hiking trails – lots of them also ridable by mountain bike. It is always good to come back after a hike and enjoy the house and the garden. Best reachable by car, but also with public transport: take the tram No 61 from Széll Kálmán square to the Hűvösvölgy terminus, then go by bus No 63 to ‘Nagykovácsi, községháza stop’ in Nagykovácsi. From there you must hike following the green line hiking trail towards north (2 km and 80 meters up, approx. 25 minutes walk). The garden is completely fenced and it is ideal for dogs! . There is a paved parking place for two cars inside the garden. In the garden there is a fire pit with some firewood, also suitable for BBQ, and sunbeds for relaxation. There is a lockable storage room for bicycles.
