The apartment is on two floors and can accomodate eight people. Ground floor: large entrance hall with view of the garden. Lounge/diner with large renaissance fireplace, kitchen with oven, washing machine and dishwasher. Double bedroom and bathroom with shower First fllor: threee bedrooms (one double and two twin). Two bathrooms, one with tub and one with shower This romantic villa is situated in the green heart of Tuscany. Originally a 15th century signal tower, with additions from the 16th century onwards, it is surrounded by a garden with a swimming pool (25m x 6.25m x 1.20m) and large parking. Poggio a Sieve is a complex of 6 apartments for a total of 22 beds (Limone, Verde, Rossa, Camelia, Geranio, Padiglione). The consecrated Chapel can be booked on request. Our spaces Tinaia and Mangiatoia, can be booked for small events and banquets. In the Mugello, guests can explore the native towns of the Medici, Giotto and Beato Angelico, all of whom played a part in the Italian Renaissance. All the apartments are furnished with period pieces and equipped with central heating for the winter season I love stay with my guests as long as they wish. A short walk away is Vicchio, with shopping facilities, and where you can take the train and get to Florence in less than an hour. The same distance away are sports facilities for tennis and riding. 16 km away, in the area of Scarperia, is the fine “Poggio dei Medici” Golf Course. At a similar distance Lake Bilancino also has attractions for the sporting guest, especially sailing. In Barberino ther is also a very big Outlet called Barberino Design Outlet. You can book our Verde apartment aswell, they can both accomodate together up to 10 persons.
