The Lodge offers 10 luxurious bedrooms, most with en suite baths with walk-in rainfall showers. The Lodge has a theater room, bar, conference room, gym, steam room, sauna, and hot tub. Private 600 acres on organic farm. The Lodge at Galusha Hill Farm sits on a 600-acre sanctuary in central Vermont, and offers the ultimate in privacy; its majestic acreage surrounded by 1,000 acres of protected conservation land. The Lodge, is available for rental to discriminating guests desiring a completely different vacation or corporate retreat experience. Wide plank flooring and radiant heat throughout, ten luxurious bedrooms, most with en suite baths with walk-in rainfall showers. The main floor features a post and beam great room with a central stone thermal fireplace, crafted by local artisans using handpicked stones from the property, and an adjoining conference room and library, dining room, and commercial style kitchen. A large deck and patio overlook the organic gardens and farm pastures dotted with sheep and horses, and in the distance, breathtaking panoramic views of the central Vermont hills. Built-in Theater, Pub Room, Steam & Sauna On the ground floor of the Lodge, guests have access to a built in soundproof theater, a multi-function workroom, two breakout rooms, a country-style pub room with custom built mahogany bar, a fully equipped workout room with a view of the mountains, a steam room and sauna, and a hot tub just outside the door on the patio. The Lodge is equipped with a Sonos sound system with wall controls throughout, wireless Internet. Guest amenities available to all include: peace and tranquility that can only come with 600+ acres of pastures and woodlands, miles of maintained trails for four season recreation, multiple spring-fed ponds, and a private 20-acre mountain lake. Guests are welcome to enjoy the property for hiking, jogging, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing, as well as for swimming, canoeing, kayaking and fishing. There is also a tennis court, and supervised access to our working organic farm. We like to greet our guests and provide a general orientation to the property and Lodge facilities. The Lodge isn't your typical rental and there are many things that take a bit of introduction. (e.g. steam room, movie theater) We are more than happy to give you your privacy after the Check In process, but we are also available at any time you need us. We (John and Dallas) live on the property. We like to think that East Topsham is the 'wild west' of (eastern) Vermont. This rural little pocket of the Green Mountain State is undeniably special. The Lodge is approximately a three-hour drive from Boston MA, Hartford CT and Montreal and five hours from New York City. An easy drive to Barre and Montpelier VT, and Hanover NH, it is less than an hour to Lebanon Regional Airport and 1.5 hours to the Burlington International Airport. Given that Galusha Hill Farm is a working farm with livestock, pets cannot be accommodated. Please let us know in advance if you have strong feelings about pets. Our farm dogs and cats do not enter our facilities, but are friendly and typically roam around the Farm. KID STUFF We have 2 pack n' play travel cribs.
