La Nauvrasse: charming country house with pool

This charming, newly-refurbished 1830s country house sleeps up to 10 and includes a beautiful pool and a large garden. The house is very family friendly, with good Wifi and lots of games. The fields and forests around it conceal delightful secret lakes, and some of the best France has to offer is within easy reach, such as Aubeterre-sur-Dronne (one of the most beautiful villages in France), the seaside Dune de Pilât (the largest sand-dune in Europe), St Emilion, Cognac, Bergerac and Bordeaux. In addition to the three bedrooms, there is a large landing with two curtained off 'rooms'. One 'room' has a double bed, and the other one has a single bed with a trundle underneath to make an extra bed. Both have reading lights and chests of drawers. Altogether this means that the house has beds for 10, but the landing beds are really best for children. Children love these 'rooms' as they feel like they're in a cozy tent, but are close enough to the grown-ups downstairs to feel comfortable.
