Shingle Gully Cottage

The Shingle Gully Cottage is located on over 40 acres of privately-owned land bordering Sam’s Point Preserve. The cottage is located on the outskirts of Ellenville NY. The town is situated at the base of the rolling Catskills within the Shawangunk valley. Within the cottage, there is a pellet stove that will be lit on chilly nights upon request. During the summer months, there is air conditioning available making a cool and cozy retreat from the heat of the summer. The front door opens to a large patio that expands your living area comfortably into the outdoors. A cozy patio set is situated on the patio along with a charcoal grill. A fire pit is also located just off of the outdoor seating area that will be stocked with wood for your personal use. There is a small play set outside that is also available for guest use. Once booked, you will receive our personal cell phone numbers. We live on the property and will assist you with all of your needs. From lighting the grill to lighting the fire pit. We are locals who will try to assist you in having the best visit to our town as possible. We live a stone throws away from the cottage and will make sure we accommodate all of your needs. This cottage was once our family’s home. We hope that as our guests you enjoy the space and make fond memories in it as we once have. Ellenville is a beautiful small town with welcoming locals. The town is filled with delicious restaurants. With a wide array of choices. From Japanese cuisine to Chilean and Vegan options. The shadowland theater is a professional theater located in the center of town. You can enjoy drinks and dinner at Aroma Thymes extensive bar and restaurant after the show. Cohens bakery is a great quaint place for breakfast on any given morning. Especially when the weather is nice because outdoor seating is available.
