Large room with double bed, sofa, and TV.
I have a small but comfortable house in a very quiet location (although a train from the West Kirby to Liverpool line passes every twenty minutes). The house is in a cul-de-sac, ten minute's walk from Leasowe Lighthouse and the foreshore. Leasowe Bay, a beautiful beach, is twenty minutes walk from the lighthouse. The train station is 15 minutes walk from the house, and has a free car park. It takes twenty minutes to arrive in Liverpool, with its unique character and many attractions. This is a two bedroom property with a garden at the back. There is a parking bay at the front. Downstairs there is a small sitting room which I keep for my own private use but guests are welcome to make limited use of the kitchen to make snacks, use the microwave etc. Tea and coffee making facilities are in the bedroom together with mugs, water glasses and wine glasses. There is also a mini fridge which accommodates one pint of milk (provided). There is a travel cot available for babies and toddlers and I have a fold-down mattress that would accommodate a child of up to twelve years or so. All the rooms have central heating. Guests are welcome to eat and drink or just relax in the garden, and to use the kitchen table to eat at or work on if they so wish. This is a popular area for bird watchers and is very near the busier coastal villages of West Kirby and Hoylake, whilst being less packed and busy. In terms of personal house rules I welcome the practise of removing outdoor shoes on entering the house. The centre of Moreton is ten minutes walk from the house, where can be found shops, including a butcher and a greengrocers, as well as cafés and restaurants, and several hairdressers and nearby petrol stations, and three pubs. For those that like walking there are some lovely areas, both within a short walk from the house and around ten minutes drive from Moreton, which encompass parks, ancient woodlands, and coastal walks which run for many miles adjacent to the coast. New Brighton, which has enjoyed good regeneration in recent years is well worth a visit for it's street art, marina activities, beach and parks. North Wales can be reached in around half an hour's drive, as can the historic city of Chester. Liverpool is only twenty minutes away by train with all its many attractions. The needs of BnB guests vary, and I am happy to give them complete privacy when that's what they need, but am also happy to chat for a while should that be something they enjoy. My concern is to create an environment in which each guest can find their stay here a real pleasure. I have been fortunate to have had guests from countries around the world. I live in a quiet neighbourhood, and despite the proximity of the railway line the noise of the small trains passing by every twenty minutes quickly become a hardly noticed background sound. Other than that, the predominant sound in this quiet cul-de-sac is that of birdsong. Whatever you are looking for in a stay here, you have great access to beautiful countryside, parks and ancient woods as well as several beaches and marine lakes. If it is culture, architecture, nightlife and entertainment you are interested in, The unique city of Liverpool is very well worth exploring as well as the Wirral itself. North Wales can be reached in around half an hour, as can the city of Chester. For guests that don't arrive by car there are many nearby bus routes as well as the train station 10 -15 minutes walk from the house. The railway station has a free car park so it is easy when visiting Liverpool to leave the car there. There are beautiful coastal walks and bird watching opportunities immediately accessible from the house. l am happy to provide any information I am able to in terms of tourist attractions within Merseyside and Chester, but due to the wealth of information available online I don't provide leaflets. I welcome any requests for guidance on places to dine and/or visit.
