Cozy Chalet on the Trail In the Woods

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars. This chalet is right on the ITS trail, nestled in the middle of a wooded lot. Lots of privacy. Enjoy the fire pit, bring your snowmobiles, bikes and trailers. The space is super cozy with a 55" TV and small kitchen to prepare your meals. The bedroom is in the loft with catwalk opening up to a balcony. Enjoy access to year round outdoor activities as you are nearby Katahdin Iron Works/Jo Mary region and near Sebec and Schoodic lakes This place has it all. Hot shower, cute kitchen with everything you need to make up your meals. A comfy queen bed up in the loft with screened doors and windows for fresh air. A fire pit and direct access to the ITS trail. Private wooded lot with private driveway. You can get away from it all and enjoy the stars! Great getaway for couples, or use the air mattress and sofa downstairs to sleep more people. This is a small space, ideal for couples or small families, more than 3 or 4 people would be too tight. We have a pack and play crib for families with little ones. You will need a vehicle as you are about 8 miles away from town where you can get all your services and supplies including Dunkin' Donut and McDonald's. Restaurants and 2 large supermarkets. The trail will take you throughout Maine on the ITS snowmobile trails system. the trail is a dedicated snowmobile trail and is closed in the off season. You are in a small unorganized township, which is home to Alder Stream Preserve, nestled among farms, fields and forests, and 8 miles from a larger town where you will get services. Great place to bike, hike, snowmobile or just enjoy the quiet of the Maine woods. Sebec Lake is just a few miles to the north and there is a convenience store with a small dining area about two miles north. The town of Milo just to the east is home to Bissell Brothers Brewing Three Rivers location which features some of New England's most sought after craft beers and has a tasting room on site with live music occasionally. You will need a vehicle as you are 8 miles from town. The loft is accessible via a very steep set of stairs, kind of like a hybrid ladder/stairs. with 60 ° of pitch. You will need to be able to climb to get up to bed.
