Wooden cabin with fantastic views across Spey Valley. Whisky barrel seats on the balcony perfect for having a drink and relaxing in the peace and quiet, lovely woodland walk right behind the cabin. Ideal location for the Malt Whisky trail, Speyside Way, fishing on River Spey or walk directly from the cabin onto Ben Rinnes. 40 mins from skiing at the Lecht or Cairngorm's The cabin is equipped with everything you need for your stay. Tea and coffee. There is a mobile signal and reception is good , there is no wifi. TV with freeview and DVD, a selection available for your use. CD player and radio. Two comfy chairs as well as sofa to relax and enjoy the view in.. There is no direct access to the cabin with your car although there is plenty of space for parking. You will need to walk up to it and unfortunately could not be accessed by wheelchair. You can walk directly into the woods behind us and onto Ben Rinnes. The cabin is at the very top of our property and is completely secluded, you have your own private garden with BBQ facilities, outside deck with chairs. Speyside is abundant in visitor attractions including whisky distilleries and very handy for neighbouring regions, the Moray Firth is close by for its beautiful beaches and wildlife. The Cairngorm National Park is just up the road for hillwalking and wildlife spotting. Aberlour has selection of hotels and pubs for eating and drinking, a library, banks, shops and takeaways. Fishing on River Spey, Findhorn and Deveron are all accessible as well as trout fishing at nearby fisheries. Also findhorn and hopeman beach aren’t far this spot is perfectly positioned for beach or mountains. It is advisable to have a vehicle, Aberlour is about 2 miles away and there is public transport from there to Elgin and beyond. Aberdeen and Inverness airports are approx an hour's drive away. Taxi company available in Aberlour. The bathroom has a shower and a compost toilet (don't be afraid it is not what you might expect ! There is nothing to see and no odours it is the type often fitted on canal boats) also please do not let next doors cat in the cabin as it’s a pet free zone and other guests may have allergies thanks
