Beautiful Centrally Located Cottage in Intercourse

Our home is located in the middle of Pennsylvania Dutch Country, and within walking distance of all the shops in Intercourse including Kitchen Kettle Village, Stoltzfus Meats, and Smucker Village. Intercourse is surrounded by farmlands and in the summer several authentic Amish roadside stands selling fresh produce can be found within a mile from our home. We are 15 minutes from Dutch Wonderland, the outlets, and restaurants along Route 30. Other nearby attractions include Sight and Sound Theatre, Shady Maple Smorgasbord, and downtown Lancaster, so whether you are looking for rest and relaxation or shopping and adventure you can find it here. Our home is beautifully decorated in an elegant chic style with lots of natural light. It's perfect for a two couples traveling together or a family with small children. It includes a formal living room, dining room, fully-stocked kitchen, finished basement with a smart TV (and basic Xfinity channels), high speed wifi, and full size washer/dryer. A portable travel crib is available on request. This home is meant to be warm and inviting above all. We want it to be comfortable and we also want to encourage connection and togetherness. For that reason we have provided a TV and media space downstairs but kept the upstairs living space congenial, cozy and meant to encourage shared laughter and fun. There's a great park with swing sets/play area for kids just behind the property and in the summer there's a local softball league that plays at the ball diamond most evenings. You'll have access to the entire house, porch, and front lawn. We live nearby and are always available if you have questions during your stay. Intercourse is one of the most popular towns in Lancaster's Amish country and for good reason. There's so much to do all within walking distance. Kitchen Kettle Village, Stoltzfus Meats, and Smucker Village are some of our favorites. There is a bus route that runs along Old Philadelphia Pike from the house to downtown Lancaster. But we highly recommend having a vehicle for the duration of your stay. This was our first home and we absolutely fell in love with the charm and central location.
