You will have a fully functional studio on your own. A studio with two single sized beds, a kitchen and a bathroom. There are taverns right next to the apartment, markets, cafes and some bars. Every two or three days there are fishermen, bakers and greengrocers driving by selling their local products. The place is not very night life-y and not so touristic Tsoutsouros is one hour from Heraklion. In the summer there are several buses scheduled to Tsoutsouros. You can ask me for the timetable. Another way to arrive is renting a car right outside the airport of Heraklion. Some people arrive from the airport of Chania. I wouldn't recommend that given the fact that an exhausting for travelers 4 hours trip is mediating.
