A simple, cosy, beautiful three-bedroom coastal cottage on the edge of the cliff overlooking the beach and sea in the picturesque village of Aberdaron close to the tip of the Llŷn Peninsula. The generous lawned gardens offer 360 degree views overlooking Aberdaron Bay, and then out to sea as far as the horizon with nothing between you and the sea but the beach! The cottage has 3 double bedrooms, 2 with doubles/kings and a third with 2 single beds. The cottage is our family holiday home bought after many happy years holidaying in this incredible part of the world. It is dog-friendly (max 2 dogs) but please respect our non-dog owning guests and don’t let Fido on the beds or furniture! The cottage is around 100 years old and built in the traditional Welsh style. This does mean that there are STEEP STAIRS to the upstairs bedrooms and low ceilings to watch out for. There is a small camping field to the side of the house and the very quiet coastal road to the front. The road will take you to the fabulous beaches of Yso, Cariad, Hell’s Mouth and Abersoch - otherwise known as Cheshire-on-Sea :). The cottage has 3 double bedrooms (1 on the ground floor). Bedrooms 1 & 2 have king size beds whilst the third has 2 single beds. There is a fully equipped kitchen, separate dining room, cosy lounge with window seat, L-shaped sofa, and TV with integral DVD player. The bathroom is also on the ground floor and has a separate shower and bath. There is a separate loo and a utility room with washing machine, dryer, fridge and freezer. The cottage is beautifully decorated in a simple coastal style with stone flagged floors to the kitchen & dining areas and lovely carpets to the rest of the space. Our bedding is 100% cotton and we provide all your towels, beach towels, bed linen. Please note this is a lived-in house with relaxed feel and the sort of dings and dents you would expect from a family home :) . The garden is large and flat and ideal for children however it is the views that make this such a special place. Grab your glass of joy and sit and watch the tide roll in or the sun rise and set - there is quite simply nothing like it. And to keep you happy on wet weather days we’ve gathered together loads of DVD’s, books, magazines and games for you to get stuck into. To the outside there is lounging furniture, picnic tables, viewing benches. There is also WiFi, digital radio with Spotify connect and cable TV. You have the run of the whole house, garden and drive. The house is perched above the village, and is a 5 minute walk into the centre with its shops, cafés, pubs, pizza shack, National Trust centre and huge sandy beach offering superb watersports including wind surfing, paddle boarding, surfing, body boarding, sailing and kayaking. The wider peninsula is a designated area of outstanding beauty with so much to offer families, walkers, nature lovers and adventurers! We have extensive knowledge of the area and although we do not live nearby we are only at the end of the phone. Our fantastic property management company - Peninsula Properties are on hand locally to help with any immediate concerns or problems. A beautiful & ancient seaside village complete with medieval church and historic buildings, Aberdaron is a true jewel of the Llyn Peninsula. Buzzy but never too busy it offers all you'll need for a relaxing back-to-nature holiday. You can walk into the village from the cottage in under 5 minutes and we are right on the route of the free coastel bus which runs along the peninsula as far as Pwhelli. Please note there is a small, quiet camping field next to the house. It is nearly always families and walkers that stay there but there will be caravans and tents in close proximity to the cottage during the summer months. Please also note that whilst the house is pet-friendly the garden is not enclosed. There is access onto the road at the front and directly down to the beach.
