Swithland Lodge with PRIVATE HOT TUB

Swithland Lodge is situated in the Valley Lodge area of Honicombe Manor Park, St Anns Chapel. The lodge comprises 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the ground floor and an open plan living area, kitchen and balcony on the first floor. Guests can use own private hot tub situated outside on the downstairs verandah accessed though French doors from the main double bedroom. This lodge is the perfect base from which to explore areas of Devon & Cornwall in addition to enjoying the on site facilities. The upstairs living area affords a light and airy space with attached well equipped kitchen for self catering style family holidays. A recent refurbishment of the lodge included laying of wooden floors in the downstairs entrance hall, new contemporary style striped carpet to the stairs and living area and new contemporary style sofas one of which converts in to a sofa bed if you need extra sleeping accommodation. The lodge is a great base from which to explore areas of Devon and Cornwall - approx. 25mins to the nearest beach, 5 mins to Cothele National Trust Property on the banks of the Tamar, Honicombe is situated next to a donkey sanctuary. Nearby you can explore the historic Morwhelham Quay or nearby pannier market town of Tavistock. Visit Plymouth or the historic fishing ports of Polperro, Looe & Fowey or travel further afield to visit Eden project. After an exhausting day return to enjoy your own private hot tub and on site facilities. Use of own private hot tub. Access to site indoor pool, fitness suite, games room, restaurant & bar, outdoor childrens play area, outdoor heated pool in the warmer months. Main guest booking the lodge must be aged 23 or over . I have a lovely housekeeper Tom who has a dedicated team to clean the lodge and who services the hot tub for us and deals with minor maintenance issues during your stay. I am always at the end of a phone or email should you have any queries prior to or during your stay. The lodge is situated in the quiet valley lodge area at Honicombe Park with an outlook across open countryside. This is an off the beaten track area of Cornwall allowing you to get away from the normal hustle and bustle of life. Staff of site are all very friendly and helpful - everything operates in Cornish time. Ideally a car is useful - parking is available directly opposite the lodge.
