Manderley Park - Farmstay Bed & Breakfast

Overview: Welcome to ‘Manderley Park Farmstay Bed & Breakfast’, an historic 1930’s Art Deco Country Homestead, set in the heart of West Gippsland’s Dairy Country. Choose to either relax indoors, perhaps in front of the open fireplace with a bottle of wine, or head outdoors and participate in the 'Manderley Park Farmstay Experience, where you can observe the milking of cows during the season, feed calves or do a spot of fishing in the natural spring creek that flows through the farm and more! There are two 'Art Deco' inspired light-filled bedrooms, both with very comfortable king size beds, TVs and cosy heating. The main bathroom boasts an extra-large shower, the dining room has an open fireplace and the TV room a large screen TV and leather lounge suite. A continental breakfast can be enjoyed either in the courtyard or in front of the open fireplace in the dining room. All guests are also invited to enjoy a leisurely stroll around the meticulously kept cottage garden, which boasts an array of spectacular flowers and large leafy trees. You may even choose to take a pot of tea out into the courtyard and watch the every changing birdlife come and go throughout the day. In addition to the Bed & Breakfast Accommodation, guests may have access to the 'Manderley Park Farmstay Experience' during the milking season. This includes: * Observing the milking of dairy cows during the season * Hand feeding calves and cows during the milking season* * Hand feeding the donkeys * Hand feeding the cats and dogs * Fishing in the Manderley Park Natural Spring Creek * Take a walk over the dairy farm land At the Manderley Park Farmstay Bed and Breakfast guests will, if desired, be provided with a wealth of local information regarding local attractions, the best eating spots and activities to suit the whole family. Hosts, Robyn and Colin have lived in the area for the past 30 years and love to share their knowledge with guests. If guests choose to participate in the Farmstay Experience, both Robyn and Colin will be on hand to lead the various activities. Manderley Park Farmstay Bed & Breakfast is located in the township of Buln Buln, home to approximately 1000 local residents. The property is set back off a sealed and very quiet country road. Buln Buln and district is most easily accessed from the comfort of your car. Train travel is available to Warragul on the V-Line system, with taxis always ready in Warragul for the 10 kilometer journey to Buln Buln. Local Attractions: Take a 10 minute drive into the township of Warragul, where you’ll find an array of fabulous bars and restaurants, the West Gippsland Arts Centre where terrific acts often perform, 6 screen movie theatre, local boutique shopping, Woolworths and Coles plus many other local attractions. Indulge at the ‘Brandy Creek Estate’ world-class spa experience set amongst the Gippsland vines – this is highly recommended and located only 10 minutes’ drive! Drive to Yarragon for a Devonshire Tea before exploring the many antique and boutique local shops. Visit Mt Baw Baw, which takes approximately 1 hour drive time. Enjoy excellent skiing in the winter months or bushwalking/cross country mountain biking in the warmer months Manderley Park Farmstay Bed & Breakfast is also located an easy 15 minute drive to the ever happening Lardner Park – making it the ideal destination for people attending events there.
