Nestled in the Wye Valley with plenty to explore. Great for walkers, cyclists and anyone wishing to take in the natural beauty of this landscape. With easy access to Monmouth, Tintern, Forest of Dean & Chepstow a great place to base yourself from being only 15 mins from the bridges into Wales. The Wye Valley walk runs along the perimeter of the house so no need for cars if you just want to explore. Discuss your needs with the owners and we will try to make your stay memorable. Visitors are welcome to bring dogs if we can agree on rules. It is ideal for dog walking. There are two rooms: a bedroom and ensuite and a room with sofa, tv, table and chairs. wifi. Safe storage area for bikes etc. Off road parking. There is access to a large fridge, toaster, kettle and microwave. Fresh towels and bed linen. Iron and hairdryer can be provided on request. Always available for advice just not always in person, however, someone will see you during your stay. There is a great selection of local pubs catering for all budgets and meal requirements. All walker and dog friendly. There are cycling cafés and of course Tintern Abbey is worth a visit a 20 minute walk from the house or a 3 min drive. There are local buses in village with plenty of well trodden walks and cycle. We will be able to share this information on arrival. We aim that our guests have a fantastic experience, so please do ask at the time of booking for anything specific to your needs that we might be able to help out with.
