Bedroom 1 - can be a Super King size bed or Twin beds. Bedroom 2 - is a Twin bedded room. Bathroom with over-bath electric shower, toilet, hand basin and shaver point. Second toilet with washbasin. Travel cot with mattress and high chair available. Extensive garden with table and chairs, BBQ, grass play area for football and other games, washing green. Also a small wooded area where the fairies have a garden Panoramic views over the garden and River Forth towards Edinburgh. On family run working farm with beef cattle, sheep and various crops. May be farm noises... Scenic walks from the doorstep ABERDOUR This quaint, picturesque and historical village is only 1.5 miles or 5 mins. by car - castle, harbour, beaches, pubs, coffee shops, walks, railway station, tennis, lawn bowls and golf. Edinburgh our beautiful capital is only 35 minutes by train over the iconic Forth Rail Bridge. Here we are Ideally central for St Andrews, Perth and Stirling all 45 minutes journey by car. There is plenty in this area to keep the family entertained for at least two weeks with history, sports, shopping and visitor attractions aplenty. CAR is essential. There are three free parking places right beside the accommodation. (A car is essential to stay here as we cannot always be available to give lifts.) Aberdour village (5 min) has a free car park beside the train station which is handy for exploring and catching the train over to Edinburgh. Burntisland town (5 min) has free car parking along the High Street and at The Links Car Park great for exploring and shopping. TRAINS From Aberdour station are usually every half hour during the week and hourly on Sundays to Edinburgh on the iconic Forth Rail Bridge. An epic journey over the Firth of Forth. There are taxi companies nearby. The nearest bus stop is 0.5 mile away at the farm road-end, where the Number 7 bus passes every 30 minutes for the Dunfermline to Anstruther route. The nearest railway station is in Aberdour which is 20 min walk by road or 5 min by car or taxi. Edinburgh airport is approx 30 min by car.
