Share my special place in quiet, unique rural location. Stunning panoramic views & sunsets from my modern interesting home. Allow time for bush & hill walks & sunsets. Central location for Rotorua, Waitomo caves, Hobbiton, Sanctuary Mountain - all within 20 - 60 minutes. Delicious breakfast included. For your safety, one booking at a time until Coronavirus Covid-19 is 'over' so you can enjoy your own space. All surfaces disinfected in-between bookings. Pure artesian spring water on tap. A spacious home with rammed earth walls and modern design - set in the middle of a small hill-country farm with protected native forest and streams . Guest rooms are at opposite end of house to master room. Guests use their own modern bathroom, 2 toilets and work space. Wash basin in queen-bed room. Also a double-bed room, and king single bed room - with extra single pop-up bed - and attic bed settee if needed. All rooms have insect screens on windows but the home is at a mosquito-free, cooler altitude. Underfloor heating, heat pumps, electric blankets and a blazing log fire in winter help make your stay extra cosy in winter. Couples, groups up to 6 people, or family of up to 6 or 7. One couple, group or family at a time for improved experience and to enable your safety. Not suitable for mobile infants but perfect for couples with a young baby not yet crawling. Tea/coffee making facilities and 65 litre fridge for your own use. Panoramic rural views from all rooms. Relax in the family room or the lounge, or in the garden and bush walks. Enjoy the limitless skies and traffic-free quietness. See the glow-worms (depending on time of year) on a free guided evening bush walk. Hop on the farm ute for a drive to the top of the farm fro even more extensive views of greater Waikato and beyond. Profits from your stay are used to buy and plant more native trees. Enjoy the gardens, your own workstation, tea/coffee making facilities and fridge in the guest wing, relax in the family room or lounge. Satellite internet is fast and free. Mint, my outdoor heading dog (doesn't bark) is quite useful around the farm but prefers to play and be patted. Walk through the native forest along mountain streams. Catch a ride on the ute or walk to top of hill for even more extensive views, watch & listen to native birds. Take an evening bush walk to see the glow worms - guided or by yourselves. Enjoy the beautiful garden setting and ever-changing cloud-scape. Delicious healthy meals cooked for you by arrangement, using seasonal home-grown produce. Whatever makes your stay more enjoyable. Fiona lives in the home and works both on & off farm, and will welcome you on arrival. She is well-traveled and enjoys sharing and hearing about your journeys, but will respect your space as you prefer . She will help enhance your stay as needed, or let you get on as you wish.
