Private Little Cottage, Letterfrack, Connemara

This is a beautiful small cottage built in the traditional style on the Wild Atlantic Way just 1.5 km from Letterfrack Village and the centre of the stunning Connemara National Park. The sea is just 300m away and the house is private and set among trees. It is located at the heart of North West Connemara within 1.5km of the Connemara National Park (Walks are currently open March 2020 but not visitor centre) and 6km from Kylemore Abbey. Also within walking distance of Rosleague Manor for food and bar. The fields next door have wonderful panoramic view of the Diamond and the Kylemore valley as well as Ballinakill Bay for you to enjoy. The area is littered with remote beaches of golden sand and turquoise seas to swim or kayak in. The house is close to mountains and hills with views over bogs and lakes. We would love to share it with you. There is a separate entrance driveway for your house and parking with a picnic table too. We are easy to contact by phone/email. Normally we dont meet guests but are available if needed and guests will be left to enjoy the house themselves. Letterfrack is a lively village often with music at weekends and plenty to do both in the pubs and outside. We are spoiled here with the most beautiful scenery. Deserted beaches views of The Twelve Bens Mountain range and the Wild Atlantic Ocean. There is little light pollution and we havedark skies with thousands of stars - make sure to go outside on a clear night the Sky looks 3 dimensional. Little public transport. A car is pretty essential Although we are 1.5 km from shops - the road is not very safe for walking to the village. This house is in an excellent location. Veldons supermarket is in the heart of the village just 1.5km away and stays open weekdays until 10pm. A great shop catering for the gluten-free vegetarian to the carnivorous beer-drinking type. We have free WIFI. The house is really TINY there are no wardrobes or cupboards for your clothes.
