Private Lake Michigan Beach House

This charming cottage has 150 feet of private beach on Lake Michigan to enjoy shoreline walks, swimming, sunbathing, hiking, fishing, body surfing, kayaking, campfires and more. Our 5 bedroom cottage also has a large wrap around porch which provides amazing views of the lake and sunsets. It has plenty of room for family and friends to share a meal or play games. The cottage is only a few minutes to downtown Pentwater where you can enjoy ice cream shops, restaurants, mini golf and local shopping. Lake house includes bed linens, towels, washer and dryer. There is also a grill, picnic table, television, wi-fi and dining room table. 4 of the bedrooms have views of the lake. There is 2 parking spots near the house with additional parking close by. All 5 bedrooms have a ceiling fan. We have one fan that can be used for main floor. Clothesline located near house and one in the laundry room. Please bring your own dish, hand, and laundry soap. Guests will be able to contact us through phone. Initial check in to review basic information about this home. Pentwater is a wonderful place to vacation with your family. Some of our favorite things are mini golf, House of Flavors for ice cream before the sun sets, and AJ's go carts. The Antler and Brown Bear restaurants have great food including homemade soups and a 1 pound Bear Burger. Charles Mears State Park has a trail up Mt Baldy that leads to a beautiful view of the lake and a sand dune to race down. A few other activities we have enjoyed are golf, picking blueberries at the Pentwater Patch, getting fish from Bortell's Fisheries, and the dune rides in Silver Lake. Walk the beach or the boardwalk to the pier. Ride your bike or take a car to town. The house is 114 years old and the outlets can be easily blown if more than one thing is plugged in at same outlet. Please close all windows when it rains... it comes into the house.
