Pantry for larger items. Refrigerator and freezer. - Bedroom - bamboo queen foam mattress and bedstead with additional storage, comfortable sofa, large closet and shelving unit, bedside tables with additional power and USB charging outlets, side lamps, flat screen TV (with cable and internet boxes) and barn door for privacy from kitchen area. - Bathroom - large walk-in shower, sink unit with storage, over-the-sink lighted mirror and storage cupboard, toilet and fan. Hairdryer, medical kit, spare and beach towels included. - Entrance - storage bench with hooks for shoes and coats - Patio - outdoor patio with bistro table and 2 chairs, perfect for enjoying sunshine over breakfast. In addition there is also a 3 burner and 1 side burner BBQ dedicated to the suite to facilitate outdoor dining experiences - Heating / cooling - efficient heat pump unit provides suite temperature environmental control. We live in the house next to the property and so are close by for any questions you might have to make your stay more enjoyable. Welcome to St. Andrews - a small coastal town with a lot going on! - Downtown - the suite is only 0.5 km away from downtown St. Andrews with restaurants, bars, boutiques, souvenir stores, kayak rentals, whale tours and the wharf. - Kingsbrae Gardens - lovely award-winning botanical gardens only 0.7 km away from property, complete with cafe with super yummy food and gift shop. Has playhouses, animals and activities for children. Also has an outdoor amphitheatre for musical and other events open to the public. - Katy's Cove - great for sheltered swimming or kayaking with beach 2 km away from suite. - Walking / nature - numerous trails for walking beginning only 5 minutes walk from suite, around the town coastal trail, to Katy's Cove and further on the Van Horne trail to Minister's Island. Nearby Chamcook Mountain (6 km) for wonderful views of the area and Lake (8 km). The Pagan Point Nature Reserve (0.6 km) and historical Blockhouse (1.6 km) also offer opportunities for beach walking. - Minister's Island - accessible by tidal causeway, this island has a large historic house, barn, coastal and inland trails suitable for walking or biking. - Museums / galleries - nearby Ross Museum (0.5 km), Sheriff Andrews House (0.5km), library (0.5 km), Oppenheimer-Prager Museum (1.5 km) and Sunbury Shores Arts and Nature Centre has a gallery with exhibitions and courses for adults, teenagers and children (0.9 km) - Aquarium - Huntsman Aquarium (3.5 km) with daily animal feeding times - Algonquin resort - the hotel (with restaurant and events) is 1 km from the suite and the Algonquin Golf Course is 2.5 km away Groceries - SaveEasy Supermarket for general groceries (0.55 km) and Spice Box for groceries, delicatessen goods and natural products (0.75 km).
