Large open plan living room, including dining area and a well equipped modern kitchen with everything you need to cook a family meal. It has a large open plan living room, including dining area and a lovely kitchen arrangement. It has its own decked terrace with bistro table and chairs to soak up the sun. Hot water is provided by a gas boiler with electric radiators in all the rooms, so this a very warm and cosy van. Nearby: This lovely holiday caravan is just 10 minute drive to Tywyn where there are sweeping sandy beach, where you can watch spectacular sunsets and regularly spot dolphins. Just walk out the door and there are miles of stunning rural walks. Tywyn beach enjoys spectacular views towards Bardsey Island & The Llyn Peninsula. The caravan is only a 10-minute drive to Tywyn’s High Street with all amenities including a Monday market, restaurants, pubs, shops, cinema, the world famous Tal-y-Llyn Railway and more. If you haven’t visited this part of Wales before, this lovely, reasonably priced caravan is perfectly located to experience the West Coast of Wales and the stunning countryside. Whether you are looking for adventure or a relaxing break away from it all, you will find everything within easy reach. Snowdonia National Park is on the doorstep with the stunning Cader Idris only a 20-minute drive from the site. Close to The Snowdonia National Park, the villages of Llangryn Bryn Crug are ideally situated for whatever type of holiday you want. Whatever youre into: fishing, surfing, kite boarding, sailing, mountain biking, bird watching, painting, landscape photography or horse riding, there are endless scenic places to explore. This region of Wales is without doubt a hidden gemwith some of the most spectacular scenery in Britain. The Dysynni Valley is a walker paradise with Bird Rock Cader Idris just a few minutes drive away! Snowdon is only 60 minutes by car and the beautiful Coed Y Brenin Wood, with miles of mountain bike walking tracks is just 30 minutes drive.Dont worry if youre not the active type, the flat effortless Mawddach Trail, featured in Julia Bradburys Great Railway Walks program is accessible to everyone and takes you on a journey along one of the UKs most spectacular estuaries, brimming with wildlife. here are miles of beautiful unspoilt sandy beaches to laze upon, as well as many local attractions such as on the Talyllyn Narrow Gauge Railway, which steams from Tywyn up to the mystical Dolgoch Falls. Just a few miles around the stunning Talyllyn Lake is the world renowned Centre For Alternative Technology or (CAT) which is a fascinating place to visit and learn. Close to CAT is The Corris Craft Centre and King Arthurs Labyrinth, another must visit place. 10 Minutes away..... Tywyn has a sunny west-facing Blue Flag sandy beach. Dont miss the spectacular sunsets over the bay. From early Spring through till Autumn, dolphins and porpoise can be spotted close to the shore, an amazing sight to see! Its not unusual to see them on a daily basis in pods of up to 20. Tywyn is possibly the only place on the West Coast where you can park for FREE virtually right on the beach. There is level access to the town where there are supermarkets, shops, cafes, banks, a post office, cinema, health centre, cottage hospital, several churches, leisure centre and an indoor swimming pool. Just 5 minutes drive is the picturesque harbour village of Aberdovey, with the famous Aberdovey Golf Course plus several good restaurants pubs.For watersport enthusiasts and visitors with families, uncrowded, sweeping, sandy beaches can be found in Tywyn or Aberdovey just a few minutes drive from the cottage. Depending on the conditions, Tywyn is a focal point for surfers kayakers. Aberdovey is a well known wind surfing sailing centre. Jet skiers are welcome in both resorts. Fishing trips can be arranged in Tywyn Aberdovey all year round. This area is full of history dating back to pre-historic times. Just get slightly off the beaten track on the dozens of public footpaths and you will come across standing stones, stone circles, abandoned farmhouses, castles ancient churches.Places within a just few miles of Cefn Coed NOT TO MISS:Aberdovey, lovely old fishing village, GOLF SAILING haven, with many good restaurants, pubs coffee (URL HIDDEN) Cadvans Church in Tywyn dating back 1500 years with the Cadvan Stones, which are apparently the oldest known inscriptions of the Welsh language.Dolgoch Falls, spectacular waterfalls and woodland walk, look out for fairies and witches!Cregennan Lake near Arthog, stunning location, with views of the Mawddach Estuary.The Barmouth Bridge, build by Brunel. You must walk over it and enjoy the Mawddach, then explore Barmouth, with excellent beaches and the harbour. There are good shops, numerous coffee shops pubs. The Last Inn Davey Jones Locker are particularly good.Cader Idris, Bird Rock Llyn Cau, most walkers agree is more scenic than Snowdon.The Bearded Lake above Aberdovey. Mystical place of legends, with amazing views of the Dovey Estuary.The Dysynni River reed beds. Just a short walk from the cottage. A wild life haven for geese, ducks and herons. Fishing with a permit.Bird Rock. A 15 min walk away. 500 years ago the sea came up to the rock, but the Cormorant still breed here. Also, look out for the ruined Iron Age fort near the top of the rock.Tal-y-llyn Lake, just beautiful !
