Immerse yourself in this exclusive Cornish Bell Tent Retreat, surrounded by fields, moorland and withy woodland. A place to be quiet and recharge with the sound of bees buzzing and bird song. We are surrounded by examples of ancient human history, Mesolithic, Neolithic, Bronze and Iron Age. Take a walk on the moor between the stones and take in this beautiful ancient landscape. Knappers' is in a very rural location along a moorland track, but only 10 minutes walk to Coverack Village along the footpath. The best of both worlds. Your private space has an outdoor firepit for cooking your meals or just warming your cockles! A large picnic bench and private parking. Your Bell tent has electric lighting, a double bed, beanbags, floor cushions and a low table. Pictures to follow in early May..... In the meantime, imagine unzipping your front door. As you step in you are greeted with peace, quiet and comfort. A double bed ready to welcome you after a long journey, colourful furnishings and outside, a firepit ready to light. A glass of wine or cold beer in hand and nothing to do other than relax..... Maybe a leisurely Stroll to the village for a meal and back to the campfire to watch the stars? My husband works from home most of the time as a cabinet maker and runs furniture skills courses. I work part time in fashion in Penryn, near Falmouth. We have two children, one at secondary and one at college. All of us are very social creatures, but equally happy to leave you to your own devices. Come and see us on (Hidden by Airbnb) and (Hidden by Airbnb) @knapperscoverack. Coverack is sandwiched between the Helford River and The Lizard village, the most southerly point in great Britain. Coverack village and beach with harbour, pub, deli/shop and cafes, windsurfing/kayak/paddle board centre, are all only 10 minutes walk away along the public footpath. The lizard, kynance Cove and Mullion are 10 minutes in the car with Kennack sands, Poltesco Valley/Cove and Cadgwith Cove on the way. You could always walk the coast path, taking in all these locations and taxi it back to the campfire! Porthkerris dive centre is just a 10 minute drive away via St Keverne Village. Porthallow Cove, Gillan, Helford and Frenchman's Creek are just a little further along. So many beautiful locations with great places to admire and stop for refreshment! If you want to explore further, St Ives is great for its galleries and boutiques, Penzance for the Art Deco Jubilee Pool and Marazion for St Michaels mount, long sandy beach and galleries, are all about 45 minutes in the car. Porthleven with is beautiful harbour, galleries and craft markets is 25 minutes and the historic town of Falmouth with the worlds 3rd largest natural harbour protected by Henry VIII's 16th-century fortress, Pendennis castle, about 35 minutes.
